Transforming Lives: Your Impact through the Family Future Programme

 I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your incredible support of our Family Future Programme at UKBET. Your generosity is truly making a difference, bringing hope and stability to families trapped in the cycle of extreme poverty.

Through our programme, we don’t just provide financial assistance—we offer a lifeline. By working closely with families, we help them identify business ventures that align with their skills and experiences. With micro-grants, we give them the resources they need to launch these enterprises. But our support doesn’t end there. We continue to stand by them, offering training and welfare assistance to help them overcome any challenges they might face.

Thanks to your contribution, 356 families have already experienced transformative change. One story that stands out is that of fifteen-year-old Taslima Akter (Not real name) from Habiganj. Taslima (Not real name) was forced to work full-time as a domestic worker to support her family, as her father, Sahab Uddin (Not real name), struggled to maintain a small hotel business. However, after receiving a microgrant from UKBET, Sahab Not real name) was able to revitalize his business. This financial turnaround allowed Taslima Not real name) to leave her job and return to school, encouraged by local teacher Champa Akter Eli Not real name). Taslima’s Not real name)story is a powerful example of how your support is not just lifting families out of poverty but also opening doors to education and a brighter future.

As we look ahead, our goal is to support 76 more families this year, helping them to establish sustainable businesses and break free from poverty. With your ongoing support, we can continue to make a lasting impact on these families’ lives.
