FAME's New Ultrasound Machine Has Arrived!

By Kathrine Kuhlmann | Communications Coordinator

Our new Ultrasound machine has arrived in Karatu! This morning, Dr. Ken, Dr. Gabriel, and Nurse Joyce participated in a training of the new machine in our Reproductive and Child Health clinic.

Our new ultrasound machine will be used for women in our prenatal program and comes with advanced information recording capabilities, such as an estimate due date, observations, and which trimester the ultrasound was performed in. So far this year, more than 400 new women have enrolled in FAME's prenatal program, so our new ultrasound machine will have a significant impact on our expecting mothers in the Karatu community. Thank YOU for making this purchase possible!
