Great blessing of God

My name is G. V., we live in a provincial city, we are a very poor family. My husband was martyred in the civil wars 12 years ago, I have two children who are young and working as daily workers. However, it is difficult for them to find work. They go to the market to find a job for the day, but mostly they are hired on one or two days of the week only.

Since my husband was martyred, we have not seen a good day. I cry every day. I raised these two children with great difficulty. Maybe my eyes have become weak because I am crying a lot.

Almost four years ago, my children borrowed money for an operation on my right eye which had cataract problem. This was done at another eye hospital in Kabul, but after the operation, my vision did not improve well.

One of my neighbors told me that there is a very well-equipped hospital called Darman Eye hospital. They were also treated there. It is for the poor. They charge very little registration fee and all medicines and doctor's examination are free. They provide good treatment.

With the help of my neighbor, I came here; the doctors and all the personnel of this hospital are very kind and good people. When the doctor examined my eyes, he said that after the operation, a small curtain was left at the back of my eye, which must be removed by laser. I accepted. After the laser, my eyes became clear, I can see everything well. Even my heart became brighter! Indeed, sight is a great blessing of God.

I am grateful to all the staff of this hospital, especially the doctor who treated me and all supporters of this hospital.

I must mention that I had visited many eye doctors to treat my eyes, but without real success. I thank God for giving light to my eyes again in thisDarman Eye Hospital.
