Thankful Mother
I am M, resident of Joi Haft, Jalalabad. I have 4 children (2 daughters and 2 sons), my husband is a shopkeeper.
This winter, my one year old son suddenly developed a serious chest problem. He was suffering from cough, breathing shortness and fever. We went to many doctors and hospitals, but his sickness became worse and worse.We were mainly worried about his high fever and his breathing shortness. Within a few days he became very weak and his skin and lips turned greenish.
Then my sister told me about Darman clinic. She said: “You spend all your money with no benefit, and Ad became even more serious. Go to this clinic that is for poor people like us and near to your house; they have very good doctors.” The idea was good and suitable, because we were poor too and unable to afford more private treatment. I saw that my son was very sick. He had fever, breathing shortness and some convulsions. On that day, we quickly went to Darman clinic. A doctor there carefully examined my son. He sent him to bed, then started a nebulizer, oxygen, an infusion and some injections. In the afternoon of that day, I saw that my son had improved and was going to be healthy. By evening, he had recovered.
Today we came back for a check-up. You can see, that my son is completely healthy and playing again. Now I know, that recovery is not only achieved through private and expensive treatment, but also through the kind care of doctors in this clinic for the poor. Many thanks to all the staff of this clinic. I saw on that difficult day, that everyone rushed to save my son’s life, and with the blessings of God they did restore my son.
All our relatives and neighbors know my son’s story, and now I am passing it on to all others with whom you share it.
