The Lambi Fund team was on the ground to evaluate the program that was to be completed in this period, but the biggest remarks made by the planters:
- The support came a little too late (those who planted earlier had more success in their garden)
- All the bean fields, which could have allowed them to collect more money, gave almost nothing in their crops (the bean is more sensitive to climate change)
- Most successful fields are in areas with high rainfall
- The most successful fields are peanut and millet fields
- Although there were problems, the program helped them a lot, especially to feed their families
So the Planters could not repay at the time that was expected because the yield they obtained did not allow them to do so properly but also because the repayment period fell at the same time as the school opening period.
The Organization reached an agreement with the Planters to extend the deadline. Today there are 4 out of 7 of the Organizations that have already been reimbursed, 3 others reimbursed 60-75%. Some Organizations have already distributed the refund money to some other planters for planting in the current planting season.
