Hello dear supporter,

Here are some updates on what we have been doing lately, and what comes next:

We have maintained all the activities since our last report in June 2024. Besides continuing all the mentioned activities and paying women monthly, we have managed to add three other women in India to receive monthly compensation. Until the end of 2024, we had 64% of all the women in India and Kenya receiving some monthly compensation, and our goal is to reach 80% by the end of 2025;
The program Women to Women has been a success. The workshops we started last year with women in our organization, bring skills and personal life exchange sessions to other women in their communities. We have managed to run 9 workshops and impact 112 women since August 2024. We aim to reach 650 women in India and Kenya by August 2025.
In January, Amanda from our team and Head of Operations is travelling to Kenya to implement the Women to Women program, together with Farida, our local director in India. They will spend two weeks sharing knowledge, learning from the ones in Kenya, and bringing this new program to life. We are super excited to see this happen.
We are planning a website update starting in March 2025, with a new interface, a donation page with more information regarding our impact and programs, and hopefully, a German version.
We are currently working on the impact report for 2024 and will bring it to you in the next update.

2024 has been our best year so far, THANK YOU!

Hi there,

We're thrilled to share some exciting updates from Project Tres!

New Funding Milestone:

We're delighted to announce that we've secured a significant funding increase for Project Tres, finally!

This is a historic achievement that will enable us to expand our reach and impact. You can read more about this exciting development here.

With this new funding, we'll be able to cover our general operating costs and provide vital training workshops to 650 women in India and Kenya until July 2025, and this is also only possible, because of your continuous support, so THANK YOU :)

Updates from Kenya:

We've taken steps to improve the well-being of our team and beneficiaries in Kenya:

We've increased the monthly payments for Linda, our project leader and manager in Nairobi, and Mary, who oversees center maintenance.
We're providing rent support to 6 women in Kenya to help them maintain stable housing.

Updates from India:

We've experienced some changes in our Indian team:

Rupa, one of our local leaders, has decided to leave Project Tres. We've been restructuring our management in India to ensure continuity and effectiveness.
We recently concluded our last keychain workshop session on September 30th, 2024, for 20 ladies, part of the WOMEN TEACH WOMEN initiative we mentioned here in the last report.

Looking Ahead:

We're excited about several upcoming initiatives:

We've been working on developing a new tone of voice and visual identity to convey a more creative and bold message.
We have a Christmas campaign in the works and will keep you informed about the details.
Carla (myself) will be visiting the project in Goa in December 2024.

First Semester Updates

Dear Supporter,

We're thrilled to share some exciting updates from Project Tres!

New Website with Annual Reports:

Our website has been revamped! You can now find all our annual reports since our founding in 2020. These reports offer in-depth information about our work, approach, impact, and future plans (detailed in the 2023 report). Click here to explore the new website.

Updates from Kenya:

We've expanded our Kenyan team, with a new member responsible for keeping our Nairobi center clean and organized.
We've increased Linda's (our local leader) salary and provided postnatal financial support to one of our members for three months. Additionally, we've provided two women with rent support.

Women Teaching Women:

We have 11 members in India receiving monthly payments.
We're excited to announce a new program led entirely by these women! This program allows the women in Goa to teach handcraft skills and share their experiences with Project Tres to other women in the local community.
This program creates a double benefit: increased income for existing members (who are paid to teach) and positive impact on a larger group of women.
The results have been fantastic! Instructors feel valued and respected, while participants are interested in our work and eager to potentially continue their involvement. They're also grateful for the inspiring stories shared by women from their own community.

Looking Ahead:

Next month, we'll be focusing on paying school fees in India. Funds raised will be used for this purpose and other needs outlined in each donation category.
