Project 29458 EQUIPMENT OF 25 HOUSES AFTER THE EMERGENCY IN HUARMEY was created to complement the project "Housing for the restoration of a normal and dignified life in Malvas, Huarmey Ancash province". At the beginning, the project had scheduled the construction of 24 homes, but seeing the need, financing was obtained for six more homes. The Johannes Gutenberg Cultural Association financed 24 homes and the Iglesia Luterana Evangélica Peruana-ILEP 06 homes.

The project included the support in the construction of two rooms for housing and a bathroom with hydraulic drag. The initial idea was for families to build their homes with adobe, as it is a predominant material in the intervention localities. However, in the execution of the project, it was known that the availability of land was not sufficient to elaborate the adobes required for construction, so the technical file was reviewed again and it was defined that the adobe houses have a collar of 14 wood of eucalyptus and houses of noble material (brick) have a steel collar.

To carry out the equipping of the houses, a brief survey was carried out, so it was identified that the families required mattresses since due to the floods and landslides they lost a large part of their assets. 91 mattresses of the “Paraíso” brand were purchased because their products offer guarantee and durability.

The results achieved were the following:

-       The construction of 30 houses, 11 of adobe and 19 of noble material (bricks and cement) has been achieved, benefiting 17 families located in Erajirca, 04 in Tuctu and 09 in Molinopampa. Each built house has two rooms and a bathroom with hydraulic drive.

-       91 mattresses have been distributed to the 30 families that built their homes, which were distributed considering the number of members in each family.

-       The capacity building of 81 families in the towns of Erajirca (31), Utcu (12) and Molinopampa (38) has been carried out in healthy habits and personal hygiene.

The project ended in 2018. so we trank everyone who made the results posibble.
