Dear Friend,
Over the past year, your generosity has helped provide scholarships for 25 children with special needs. Each was able to participate in 30 weeks of lessons in our Therapeutic Riding or Unmounted Horsemanship programs.
For 40 years, Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida has helped thousands of children and adults through the healing benefits of working with horses. Equine assisted services can make a huge difference in the life of someone with special needs. Whether their disability is physical, emotional, or mental, horses can provide a connection that transcends conventional therapies in a clinical setting and offers a chance for them to experience life without limits.
In just a few weeks, we welcome back our participants for the Fall session. Of the 51 individuals registered, 60% qualify for a financial hardship scholarship. Your gifts go toward the care and feeding of our 12 horses; help offset the cost of Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors and Equine Specialists that teach lessons; and provide our volunteers with valuable training of that help make our programs possible.
We thank you for your support of individuals that need it most. You have helped to pave the Path to Independence for those that come to our barn. We ask humbly you to consider making another gift that will help our participants continue to grow throughout the coming year.
