The project aimed to support 100 people with Albinism on daily direct needs such as skin care medication. Denied of their basic human rights to access to health education services. Provide Sun Protection factor 60 (SPF 60) and entrepreneurship skills to sustain their needs of purchasing Sun Protection factor 60 (SPF 60) frequently due to the Sun rays skin infection which causes skin cancer and marginalization into social community development in Mbogwe district, Geita region in Tanzania.
Skin cancer is another major challenge facing people with albinism in Tanzania. It continues to be a life-threatening disease and a silent killer, caused by the harmful ultraviolet rays. 40% people with Albinism get death on skin cancer, 250 people with Albinism don't not afford to access health and education facilities due to poor social economic and knowledge of where they can demand for funding support, Poor knowledge on health with cultural believes on traditional diseases and treatment.
The problem will be solved through these strategies. 1. Providing direct needs of health skin care medication, 2. Facilitate to raise income through training and mentoring Enterprises for sustainable skin care facilities protection. 3. Awareness raising through Multi-Stakeholder Processes 4. Multi media media campaigns. 5. improve the knowledge of children with albinism among parents, teachers and other professional about the health needs 6.Enhance the capacities of implementing partners.
i) To strengthen individuals People with Albinism and other members of the community through improved capacities in knowledge access that will enable them make informed decisions and choices or claiming their rights and exercise their democratic influence. ii) Endeavor to strengthen the capacities of local implementing organizations to contribute to better access to rights and influence pro-pro-albinism and other marginalized people. iii) Our voices of and other activist will be strengthened
