"My Life is Movement" is a process of participatory research and choreographic creation with children and adolescents that seeks to recover the historical memory of three communities of Panama City.
Starting from intergenerational dialogues, we seek to rescue and document the intangible and historical heritage of the communities related to its foundation, origin of its first inhabitants, expansion, and past and current integration phenomena.
Additionally, the project included a choreographic creation laboratory that, through the body and its movement, allows to re-elaborate a deeper sense of Identity.
The young people investigated and documented, through interviews with owners of the local historical memory (older adults), about the processes of the emergence of their communities, their first inhabitants, the forms of conflict and social integration.
At Enlaces we are glad to be part of this city and celebrate with children our history and culture.
