As many of you know we released our film Tricked in 2013. The film it is about the sex industry and sex trafficking in the United States. If you haven’t seen it yet you can watch it right now on Netflix. Tricked has successfully been reaching ever wider audiences every month due in large part to its availability on Netflix. We often hear from Netflix viewers who say that they have just discovered the film and did not realize the extent of sex trafficking in the United States.
We have also continued our commitment to telling important stories related to sex trafficking through our social media pages. Every day we increase our reach to new people, especially through our Facebook page for Tricked. Just yesterday we reported on a man found guilty for trafficking girls as young as 13 and subjecting some of them to beatings, which included victims being punched in the face and whipped with a belt. His work as a pimp spanned a decade as he prostituted seven minor victims and transported them from California to Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Washington, D.C., and Nevada. We received a lot of reactions from new and old followers who were hearing about this story for the first time.
We will be continuing our daily work on this topic and hope to be able to share new projects we have been working on when we report to you next. Thank you for your continued support and please check out the Facebook page for 3 Generations and Tricked for more frequent updates on our work.
