Project Report | Jan 29, 2016
Exciting News to Start 2016

By Luke Sutton | Development Assistant

The new year brings new projects for 3 Generations, and we are very excited for the coming months. We will be in Miami February 11 to celebrate the third-annual Malone Prize ceremony and to premier our new short film covering the successful efforts of Miami-Dade County to prosecute pimps and johns and help the women who are being sold. Established in 2013 to honor law enforcement officials who recognize prostitution as modern-day slavery and who work on the front-lines of change, the Malone Prize seeks to inspire others in law enforcement to become active participants in cultural and legal change. The prize is named in honor of Sandra Malone.

We are proud to highlight the survivors, police and community groups in Miami-Dade County for their amazing anti-trafficking work and to honor the winners of the award.

This year we will be honoring Boston Sergeant Donna Gavin, FBI Special Agent Nikkole Roberston out of Chicago and Homeland Security Special Agent Victor Williams for their work. Sgt. Gavin is head of the Boston Police Department Anti-trafficking unit, Special Agent Roberston works in the FBI’s Violent Crimes Against Children Department, and Special Agent Williams works for the Department of Homeland Security out of Miami. We congratulate each of them for this well deserved honor.

We have several other projects we are also working to bring to fruition, and we hope to be able to announce them in our next report. None of this would have been possible without the help of all of our wonderful supporters just like you. Join us in our fight to end child sex slavery and make a donation today. Together we can truly make an impact.
