With Your Help We Made It Happen!

By Hannah Eddy | Development & Outreach Coordinator

3 Generations is thrilled to announce the release of our new Law Enforcement DVD! At the request of members of the FBI's Innocence Lost Task Force, 3 Generations has created an additional DVD especially for trainings. The Law Enforcement DVD Extras includes explicit interviews with pimps outlining their methods of recruitment and control as well as extended interviews with the law enforcement officials and johns featured in Tricked. This footage was deemed too controversial to be included in the public release of Tricked and is, therefore, strictly for educational purposes.

3 Generations' Law Enforcement DVD is the next step in 3G's effort to engage the public on the issue of sex trafficking and create meaningful change. Over the last 10 years, public attitudes towards prostitution have shifted in a number of important ways. A developing body of research on America's sex industry has revealed the prevalence of sex trafficking here in the United States. Increased awareness regarding sex trafficking has resulted in public demands for changes in laws concerning treatment of children caught in the sex industry, services for victims of trafficking and penalties for purchasers and pimps. Gone are the days when prostitution was viewed as a victimless crime. There is, however, considerable work to be done. In order to continue to combat sex trafficking, it is critical that law enforcement officials and those on the front lines of the fight learn how to interact with individuals who have very likely suffered unimaginable abuse.

It is 3 Generations' hope that by providing law enforcement officials around the country with the stories of those involved in all sides of America's sex trade, officials may gain a greater understanding of both the perpetrators and the victims. 3 Generations would not have been able to continue its campaign to end sex trafficking without the help of its supporters. Please join us in our fight! A donation of just $20 will help fund the production and packaging of one DVD. We can get it into the hands of police departments all over the country. Donate today and help make it happen!
