We Welcome Signs of Change

By Jane Wells | President and Founder

As we progress in our campaign to end child sex slavery in the U.S.A., we are excited to report on the recent signs of change taking place in our country. The F.B.I. is now calling this an issue of epidemic proportions, and has created trafficking task forces in 26 major cities. Law enforcement agencies across America are doing the same, and there is currently new or pending legislation in more than a dozen states.

3 Generations is pleased to share that our efforts have contributed in raising awareness of this issue and the recent actions being taken nationwide to create change.

In late April, segments of our survivor stories were featured on an episode of Piers Morgan Tonight, a CNN show that averages 1.5-2 million nightly viewers. The episode was dedicated to Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore and the recent launch of their foundation’s campaign to end modern day slavery.

Shortly after the episode aired the video we created as our campaign’s trailer, “I’m a Victim Not a Criminal”, was featured on the YouTube home page. It has already generated over 195,000 views.

One viewer commented: “This is very informative and I hope it helps build up the momentum to fight this human degrading Stigma. Sex slavery has destroyed the lives of many. Thank you for helping to raise awareness!”

You can watch it here as well as share it with others and post comments of your own. In the coming weeks we will be premiering the stories of newly emerged survivors. There are also a number of extraordinary survivor stories currently on our website. We invite you to listen, learn, and take action.

Thank you for your support. Together we can end this human rights abuse.
