Once Upon a Time at San Pedro Itzicán, Poncitlán
On this occasion we want to tell you about our service center in the community of Poncitlán, located in the Rivera de Chapala. In Poncitlán, in the center of San Pedro Itzicán, there is a family that began attending since we started activities in 2021. Mrs. María is the grandmother of 7 grandchildren who live with her, due to poverty and the little access they have to food of quality that exists in this community, the children suffered from mild malnutrition. “My grandchildren had to go to school many times without having breakfast, they hardly ate and they got sick often,” their grandmother told us.
When they found out that we would open a care center in San Pedro Itzicán, they committed to the program as soon as they signed up. Little by little the whole family began to consume ONIformula and thanks to the vitamins and minerals it contains, they hardly ever got sick. and now they have good nutrition.
Before, María's grandchildren had to leave without breakfast or with only a soft drink in their bellies, and they arrived very unpalatable at mealtime, but since the arrival of ONI to Poncitlán they now have good nutrition and health. Lupita, the oldest, likes to go to school because when she grows up she wants to be a doctor “to sting people” as she says because injections attract her a lot. Thanks to your donation, this family now has better nutrition, and the girls and boys have optimal nutrition to grow and fulfill their dreams.
