Empoderamiento de las mujeres y reciclaje en México

Trabajamos con el firme propósito de formar mujeres emocionalmente fuertes, productivas e independientes, generando así mejores oportunidades para sus familias a través de nuestro modelo productivo sustentable.
Nuestro programa productivo beneficia a 109 mujeres creando artículos artesanales a partir de materiales reutilizables. Estos productos no solo reflejan su talento, sino que también les brindan la oportunidad de ganar ingresos extras para sus familias y ser autosuficientes.
Se dieron un total de 32 capacitaciones en donde aprendieron técnicas artesanales como el origami, joyería verde, macramé y tejido. Con ello adquirieron nuevos conocimientos y habilidades.
Gracias a que las empresas donaron las mermas de etiquetas y empaques las mujeres elaboraron 27,332 productos lo cual significo un ingreso financiero extra para ellas y sus familias. Transformando 166,6 toneladas de residuos industriales.
Seguimos enfrentando desafíos importantes: como lo es encontrar nuevos espacios para la venta de productos Mitz que generen ingresos para las mujeres. Continuar realizando capacitaciones en técnicas artesanales y en proyectos productivos como panadería y herbolaria. Impulsar aún más el programa de desarrollo humano y emprendimiento

Women empowerment and recycling in Mexico
Dear GlobalGiving donor: We share with you our 2022 Annual Report.
We work with the firm purpose of training emotionally strong, productive and independent women, thus generating better opportunities for their families through our sustainable production model.
Our productive program benefits 109 women by creating handmade items from reusable materials. These products not only reflect their talent but also provide them with the opportunity to earn extra income for their families and become self-sufficient.
A total of 32 training sessions were given where they learned craft techniques such as origami, green jewelry, macramé and weaving. With this they acquired new knowledge and skills.
Thanks to the companies donating waste from labels and packaging, the women produced 27,332 products, which meant extra financial income for them and their families. Transforming 166.6 tons of industrial waste.
We continue to face important challenges: such as finding new spaces for the sale of Mitz products that generate income for women. Continue carrying out training in artisanal techniques and in productive projects such as baking and herbalism. Further promote the human development and entrepreneurship program
