The Women Engage in their Communities (WEC) project empowers women and men to engage in their communities sustainably and collaboratively. Through capacity-building workshops, participants develop practical skills to identify local challenges, mobilize resources, and foster inclusive partnerships. The training focuses on strategies for effective communication, conflict resolution, and collaborative decision-making, equipping both women and men to lead initiatives addressing social, economic, and environmental issues. Participants also learn sustainable planning techniques that respect cultural values and promote long-term community resilience. By fostering a shared sense of responsibility and creating a supportive network, the program builds confidence and leadership skills for both genders. WEC ensures inclusive participation, encouraging men and women to work together to create lasting, meaningful change. This collaborative approach strengthens community cohesion and ensures sustainable development for current and future generations.
