By Bonnie Robins and Deanna Novak | Director & Coordinator Access Nature
“It was amazing” “Feel healthier, more relaxed” “More engaged... upbeat”
”More relaxed and happier” “A desire to want to learn more”
“More social” “A regular nature program would be beneficial”
As little as 2 hrs a week of exposure to nature reduces anxiety, depression and negative thinking, and increases well being and cognitive function. Our participants, persons with autism, developmental disabilities, mental illness, brain injuries, loss of vision, as well as underserved populations ALL DESERVE TO ACCESS THESE BENEFITS!
Our programs, (safe, meaningful, enjoyable "outdoor classrooms"), build confidence and knowledge. Working with the staff of our partner organizations, we help create a lifetime tool to reduce stress for the disabled and disadvantaged.
Please click on our PHOTO SPRING REPORT link below and enjoy seeing the Access Nature programs in action!
AND, IF YOU HAVEN’T MADE A DONATION YET THIS YEAR, PLEASE DO SO NOW, SO OUR WORK CAN CONTINUE.
We thank you for your generosity and support!
