In our second face of disability empowerment in Kenya we are targeting over 350 PWDs in every sub county within five more counties of the country. We have managed to reach to up to 720 from our 1st face of empowerment program and now with this additional of 350 PWDs we shall be surprising our 1000 mark as it was intended.
We are still facing a number of challenges and majorly financial being the major factor, we are still also appealing to donors with interest in helping and supporting persons living with various disabilities to join us in this quest of empowerment as we tend to give hope and put smiles in the faces of these men, women and children in informal/rural setup of Kenya living under 1 dollar a day.
In the second face we are going to help PWDs with Fistula get correctional surgeries, we are also intending to put up a therapy intrastate worth USD 456,000 in two sub counties of western region and Nyanza Kenya, this is after our project research on a number of challenges hindering PWDs in these places, we will also start business worth US 50,000 to them to enable them put food on their tables, in the second afce too we intend to pay school fee worth USD 47,000 to children living with a number of underlined disabilities with the country Kenya.
Our mission is to enable a free, fair and conducive environment to all PWDs and to secure their future we intend to work on their behalf to enable them shine as shooting stars. We are applying for more financial support in this quest, it isn't a very easy task but with help from donations and any other support we believe we can make it happen, our target is to reach many more PWDs and change their lives for the better.
