Human development area.

Because we are still whit the Covid19 pandemic no workshops had been held in the human development area.
We Continue to monitoring the situation in the communities that we work, and we keep sending information to the  women, about  Covid19 and health measures.
A Webinar was held by one of us, on August 19, in the Seminar on Gender and Territory ”focused on explaining the value chain and the importance of artisan work in the Highlands of Chiapas.”

Technical-productive area

We are working on a new curriculum for workshops for “ new products”

Commercial Collaborations Area

With all the care and prevention measures, using the health protocols of covid 19, little by little we are carrying out activities for the economic reactivation of the artisanal sector.

In Aguacatenango community the brand "My Golondrina" supported the artists whit some pointers, at the same time in the collaboration area, we restart a production of embroidered blouses whit the group “La flor Tradicional”.

In the community of Huixtan we began making samples for a production of hand embroidered tablecloths and napkins. In the communities of Chamula and Chenlahó we began a production of
pijamas. In Santiago El Pinar and Tsajalch’en in collaboration whit Andrea Velasco we have been working on  Andrea's FONCA project, whit exceptional results, we hope later on we can start the production whit the samples.
We continue working on the production, taking photo products,  doing the shipments of Ensamble Artesano, a social project that seeks economic reactivation in the artisan sector. In these projects we are working with women from Aguacatenango, Aldama, San Juan Cancuc, Zinacantán, Hustán. The products made for this project are ready, you can see them on Ensamble Artesano webpage.
Achievements
We are very happy to be able to move forward, the pandemic has made us reinvent ourselves, look for new tools to continue our work.
We are glad, to see the results that we have been obtained, as an  example of that, are  the product of “Ensamble Artesano”, we can see the women have appropriated the knowledge shared in the different workshops and that can be seen in the pieces made by each of them.
