The foundations and subfloor are finished!
In one of the last days and with almost 40 volunteers (mostly women), more than 210 square meters were concreted! It is a very important step that will allow us to use the space as a workplace, facilitating the development of tasks that until recently were carried out on the muddy ground.
To achieve the concreting, work was carried out during the last 12 weeks approximately on the ground preparation, the placement of the reinforcements and the preparation for the sanitary instalations prior to the concreting.
Also, the training of the women's productive unit began. They will be in charge of the construction of the pre-molded panels that will be used as the enclosure of the space. As of February, the manufacture of this panels will begin.
In a few months we will be able to share more progress and you will be able to see how the project is getting closer and closer to its final shape! Please don't stop supporting the women of Las Omas!
Thanks a lot!!!
