Hello, Mulibwanji?

I hope you are doing good this festive season, Merry Christmas. As for everybody here in Malawi we are doing great. Below is report for the girls project for the just ended term. I hope you will enjoy and continue to support us as always.

This initiative has specifically focused on empowering girls by teaching them valuable skills in sewing reusable sanitary pads and simple bags, thereby boosting their confidence and independence. The Girl Talk sessions have provided a safe space for girls to share their experiences and challenges, further enhancing their personal and social development.

Visits and Training: Visited various schools to teach girls how to sew reusable sanitary pads and simple bags. Introduced sewing clubs to equip girls with hands-on skills.

Participation: A total of 136 girls participated; 42 girls learned to sew reusable sanitary pads, and 94 made their own bags.

Schools Visited: Chipasula Secondary School, Kalumba CDSS, Minga CDSS, Kaps Schools, and Chiwamba Secondary School.

Girl Talk Program: Provided a safe space for girls to share challenges and experiences, encouraging open communication with mothers and relatives.
