Our Empowered Me Spring Session starts on March 9th! This Spring we are offering:
Ages 10 to 12
Cooking 101 – engages participants in the art of cooking, builds confidence and knowledge through meal planning and preparation. Participants work with a local chef to learn the basics of preparing breakfast dishes, lunch plates and delicious dinners.
Ages 12 to 14
Sewing 101- engages participants in the creative process, builds confidence and self-esteem through art. Participants will learn the basics of sewing by local creative, Regal Christopher of Designs by Regal.
Ages 12 to 16
Robotics 101 - Will teach collaboration, foster creativity, and help participants develop critical thinking skills. Introduction to robotics will cover everything you need to know about how a robot works. Robotics 101 will also provide an opportunity for participants to build a robot.
Eight classes meet on Saturdays through May 25th.
