With the generosity of our donors and the funds raised to date, Wayua's new business venture as a dressmaker is off and running. She has been able to get the tools and supplies she needs. She has already achieved her certificate in dressmaking, and has enrolled in a small business coaching program. We now conclude our fundraising for launching her dressmaking business with confidence that her hard work and creativity will bring her self-sufficiency. Her smile speaks for itself and she has expressed her gratitude to Makindu for partnering with her. This small effort demonstrates the mission of Makindu Children's program which strives to create a healthy community where the children experience love, care and support, even as they become young adults.
