At just 12 years old, Kendra is a fighter—on and off the field. As the goalkeeper for Alianza Lima Femenino, she pours her heart into soccer, knowing it’s more than a game—it’s her calling. While others played for fun, she saw a future. Her favorite place isn’t the classroom but the field, where she feels truly alive.
March 2024 marked a turning point. Alongside her team, she traveled to Brazil for the Go Cup, an international tournament. Through sweat, teamwork, and relentless perseverance, they lifted the championship trophy, carrying Peru’s pride with them.
Her days are long, starting at 6 a.m. for school and ending at 11 p.m. after training. Some days, she studies between drills, exhaustion pressing on her—but so does the fire of her dreams. Inspired by her mother and grandmother, who embody resilience, Kendra carries their strength with her. Her mother, the family’s sole provider, battled breast cancer, teaching Kendra that true strength is never giving up.
Her goal? To reach Alianza Lima’s senior team—and one day, wear the FC Barcelona Femenino jersey. With athleticism in her blood and determination in her heart, Kendra isn’t just playing soccer. She’s building a future, inspiring others, and proving that no dream is out of reach.
