Empower the lives of 400 talented peruvian kids

Bruno is a 10-year-old Champ, currently in fourth grade at Innova Schools, Ate Vitarte. From a very young age, Bruno has shown a love for mathematics, being his favorite course. He enjoys learning new methodologies at his school, which allows him to dream of representing his country in math competitions worldwide.

His day starts early, getting up at 6:30 a.m. to go to class. At school, he shares his learning and works hard to complete the homework assignments left for him by his teachers. When he returns home, Bruno follows a routine that includes doing his homework, eating, changing, and learning to play the melodica. He also spends time relaxing by watching television, spending time with his cousin, and playing before bedtime.

Bruno is involved with Peru Champs not only through the scholarship program, but also through leadership programs. Last year he participated in one of these with an environmental focus, learning about the three R's and the relevance of green areas. He says that he keeps these learnings to this day, and tries to share them with everyone he can.

For Bruno, the most valuable thing about his school is the constant support of his teachers and coordinators. He emphasizes that in difficult moments, he can always count on them and his classmates to help him overcome challenges, which makes him feel accompanied and understood. In this way, he recognizes that he is the child he is today thanks to the education he receives at Innova Schools and the support of Peru Champs, an organization that has provided him with an invaluable opportunity.
