Project Report | Oct 20, 2023
Empowering women to be leaders of their destiny

By Oletilwe Molebatsi | Marketing and Fundraising Manager

Meet our new cohorts for the Ikemele Program who have under gone the registrations process, run by our social worker as an on-boarding exercise into the Program. Through their journey in the Program, the ladies have accessed different opportunities for self-development to make a positive improvement in their lives such as:

Individual counselling - To understand individual’s needs and customise the offering, meeting their need.
Group counselling - To facilitate a peer to peer learning.
Life Skills program – To teach individuals about work etiquette, professionalism as well as how to best deal with everyday life challenges
Skills training program – To equip the women to up skill themselves and become employable and reach their goal of financial freedom, as well as
Social relief – Providing food parcels as a means to alleviate the stress of not knowing where their next meal will come from.

Our ladies have also enrolled in different free skills training as part of their development and paving the road to independence and will be graduating in December 2023.
