Empowering 250 Young Women in Nigeria

A GIANT LEAP

Women Inspiration Development Center Agency delivery which has been core of our programs  in the last 14 years took a big new turn this year as we got resources to train 20 grass root NGO leaders from 7 states in Nigeria so that they also be developing the agency of women and girls they are working with in their organizations. This giant step has enabled our work to help 2000 women and girls within the last six months to find their voices, discover their power, turning their negative thought as a result of hunger in our land to positive actions that will help them to continue to grow organically till they reach their goals in life.

This giant leap have also helped our organization to expand our network to 7 more states  and in the sphere of six month, we achieved  25% of the impact we made for 13 years. This is very huge for us and we know we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without the support of the few of you that have been religiously supporting us for the past 8 years we have joined this platform.

This has also shown us the power of scaling agency development in Nigeria with population of 233,192,207 as at today 9^th of August, 2024.  Agency help every woman and girl has the power to shape her own destiny, to break free from the chains of societal limitations, and to create a future filled with endless possibilities. It also help men and boys as well to re-orientate their patriarchy thinking embrace a more inclusive nation and world.

Women Inspiration Development Center is embarking on creating a Network of Women in Agency Development and Social Justice to achieve this vision.

We recognizes the crucial aspect that often goes unnoticed in our efforts to empower women and girls worldwide: the development of agency which is the capacity of individuals to act independently and make their own choices, the key ingredient that can transform dreams into reality.
