By Reanne McKenzie | Sanctuary Manager
Thanks to donations given, the sanctuary wardens and community members were able to make our own sanctuary delineation buoys! This is a great deal for us and we no longer need to outsource them, and can keep funds circulating around community members. It was a proud moment for the sanctuary team.
Also, just to update on our three recently employed wardens, they are doing a great job and are very dedicated to the team. With the addition of new team mebmers, we are able to patrol a few extra hours every day, which only helps to ensure the continued protection of the White River Fish Sanctuary.
With the continued exposure as well, we have had a few voluneers dedicating some time to help with coral restoration efforts. This allows us added support to reach our goals and mainttain our coral nurseries.
