The flood affected victims families in the region are living with very difficult situation of maintaining their livelihood. Their children are not getting good eduction, heatlth and sanitation because of extreme poverty. They are fighting with hunger of having two meals in a day. Because of poverty normally they have one food a day. In such circumstances, MRC Nepal introduce early winter off-season vegetable production technology in the areas with these beneficiaries. They are getting vegetable seeds, capacity building training and required level of technical backstopping support. They also received training for making domestic Bio-pesticides preparation by using locally available materials so that they will be able of producing organic vegetable products which is having better price of market and no problem of marketing.
In such circumstances these poor beneficiaries will be able to generate attractive income by selling vegeable and these increase income will support on food, clothes, health and education.
These beneficiaries also received fruit sapling to plant in a home garden.
