As we approach the summer season, we are thrilled to share some exciting updates!
The Gift
In our previous newsletter, we introduced our pilot programme, The Gift, and we are delighted to announce that it has successfully concluded. We couldn't be prouder of the tremendous progress we have made in helping our candidates enhance their self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-esteem.
During the engaging two-day workshops, we fostered an environment of shared stories and experiences, where we collaboratively explored the concept of abundance mentality. By shifting from a mindset of scarcity to one of abundance, our participants were able to overcome limiting beliefs and gain greater personal agency.
One of our workshop attendees expressed, "the workshops were truly beneficial. We had the opportunity to connect, support, and uplift one another." These workshops have facilitated the creation of a strong sense of belonging, forming a powerful and loving tribe. Furthermore, we are diligently preparing a comprehensive report that highlights the impact of the pilot programme. A very big thank you to our donors for making this possible.
Donation from Soles4Souls
In parallel, we have received a donation from Soles4Souls, an esteemed American non-profit organization based in Nashville, Tennessee. Soles4Souls focuses on transforming shoes and clothing into opportunities for education and employment. They operate three primary programs that aim to support individuals in crisis, alleviate poverty through shoe sales, and provide underprivileged children with shoes for the upcoming school year. As part of this collaboration, Soles4Souls has generously donated professional shoes and bags to She Matters. These essential items will be distributed in our future programs, enabling our participants to enhance their professional attire.
Collaboration with the Deloitte Women's Network
Finally, we are thrilled to announce a special one-day event in collaboration with the Deloitte Women's Network, aimed at supporting 10 migrant women in the Netherlands as they navigate the labour market. Our goal with this event is to equip migrant women with the necessary tools and inspiration to make a successful transition into the Dutch labour market. We believe that by addressing the unique challenges they face and offering support, we can help create a more inclusive and thriving professional landscape for all. Stay tuned as we keep you informed about the progress and impact of this special initiative.
Your continued support and involvement make a significant difference in the lives of these exceptional women and to all the resilient warriors out there, we encourage you to stay strong, embrace your authentic selves, and look forward to the warmth and joy that the summer season brings!
Best regards,
Team She Matters
