July 2023 Report
By Juan Diego Calisto | Director
Find our Report from July 2023 attached to this message. ¡We are so grateful for your support!
We keep developing social and emotional learning in our children and adolescents, and we positively impact our environment by participating in a campaign to clean beaches and rivers.
- Children from 5 to 7 years old learn the importance of values and managing their emotions.
- Children from 8 to 10 years oldincreased their care for the environment and played games with recycled materials. Likewise, they learned the meaning of the 7Rs to recycle (redesign, reduce, reuse, repair, renew, recover, and recycle).
- 36 adolescents received workshops about caring for the environment and social and emotional learning.
- The children from 11 to 12 years old provided daily examples of pollution and reflected, suggesting ideas on how to improve these actions. In addition, they identified the colors of the containers to recycle appropriately.
- Adolescents from 13 to 16 years old reflected on global pollution and imagined a different world, applying the 3Rs. Likewise, they visited the beaches of Barranco to put into practice what they had learned by recycling garbage and selecting disposable and non-disposable items.
With gratitude

We are ending the year, and we are so gratefull for all your help. The youth that we have worked with have had a a wonderful experience in Ruwa, and now they are starting to be change agents in their community.
Ou future challenge is to coach and walk the way through our youth, and we will do that with a next project, that will be based in giving them job and study opportunities, as well as developing the top skills that the jobs of this fourth industrial revolution requires. And we will give a lot of energy to the kids, like those of our photo, with the leadership of our youth: they will be their mentors and volunteers for improving their self-steem and resilence.
Thanks for your help, for being part of this movement and positive change, blessing for you and your family, we will keep our work in Manchay and continue to dream a better country, through action and the sum of heart, mind and hands.
