CEPALC is already off to a good start in 2019. Our music group GéneroSON, hasperformed for more than 200 people and amongst different groups to share the message of women and children’s rights. This group is special because it's made up of young people from different neighborhoods of Bogotá who have grown up with CEPALC’s training in human rights and inclusive communication. And with this, we are seeing the fruits of the work we started years ago.

The work with children in Suba is also off to a good start. After seeing what was done in this area in 2018, we have decided to bring their theater and puppet productions to the small screen. We will see messages of peace and forgiveness reflected in their puppet shows that will be brought to our digital platforms. We hope to have these productions ready by April and to share with our donors and the whole world the children’s message that they want a world without war.

To finish off, we would like to share with you our new video of a play that we did in 2018 in Mongua, Boyacá. Children of miners, some of them also working in mines, worked very hard to brings us this message of respect for childhood. You can watch their play here:
