This year, 373 young people from the Súmate reentry schools participated in the trade training program, gaining knowledge and experience in jobs that may be the future path along which they will direct their professional steps. To showcase their skills and talents, once a year they receive selected guests with tongs who taste and enjoy what they have learned, creatively presented by the students themselves.
"Experience makes perfect" is the phrase that inspires the realization of this meeting that seeks to challenge them by showing all they have learned in the program chosen by themselves. Subsequently, they will be evaluated in order to favor the learning process through feedback.
The event is prepared by the students together with their workshop teachers. The entire teaching staff of the school supports them. Each time a theme is established where creativity and innovation stand out to provide an unforgettable experience to the attendees.
On this occasion, the experience is inspired by spring. The students offer to 13 guests, beauty and hairdressing services, manicure, hair massage, makeup and paraffin therapy.
This whole process of training trades is not improvised at all. To be assigned to the specialty of their interest, young people must send letters or videos of motivation before a jury of professionals from the schools that after analyzing all the applications, inform who have been selected and are assigned the trade.
