Earlier this year, Sahar Education started a pilot program called Secret Scholars Online, enabling girls from across Afghanistan to enroll in English, Math, and Life Skill courses at no cost to them. The initial test enrolled 95 students, and another 45 have joined since them.
The new students include a group of 11 orphans living together in Mazar-i-Sharif Afghanistan who have embraced this program with open arms. The students at the orphanage have zoomed through lessons in English, Math, and other subjects, excited to learn and advance themselves.
While this program is still in development, it has shown great promise connecting 140 girls with a way to move forward despite the continued gender apartheid in Afghanistan. Thank you for uplifting and supporting Afghan girls who continue to search for hope during these dark times.
