The women and migrant workers in Salem district are highly vulnerable for infectious decease and illness more frequently. Due to their low wage and unclean works, they highly affected by virus fevers and dengue fever in the region. With support of multistakeholder, to screen the deceases that the women were provided free medical camp in their region. About 200 workers participated in the camp and benefitted. They were included for sugar test, BP test and physical checkups. Also they were provided free medicines with support of government health center, Edappadi block. The chief block medical officer from Chitthur block participated in the camp and provided free medical counselling to the participants. Some of the women with more critical illness were recommended for further treatment in Salem head hospital. The organisation leader Mrs. V. Alamelu warmely welcomed and honored the supporters and volunteers for successfully conducted the camp.
