Skill Training for Rescued bonded laborer women

With support of fund raised through GlobalGiving that the skill trainingin coir making has been given to the 30 rescued bonde laborer womenin the rural village of Tharamangalam. In the beginning the beneficiaries were selected with the parameters of povertyand high vulnerability slavery. The 10 coir making motorised machines units were purchased and installed. With support of expert skill trainer, the training has been started to imrove the skills and produce quality coir products as per the requirements of current market demands. Also they were given knowledge on marketing their products. After completion of the trainining they obtain the skills and confident on self esteem. Then the machine unts has been handed over to the women to produce coir products. Now three  women per a machine unit and collectively produce their own productions at their place itself. The production has been sold out to the whole sale merchants and getting profit. Now all 30 women became as self entrepreners with ensured regular income. Now they are getting Rs. 250 to Rs. 300 per day. Now the women could able to Manage theirfamily needs and support theirchildrenschool education. Still we need to support the remaining women.To support the  education of rescuedbonded laborer women that they were supported higher education scholarships were distributed. Now thebeneficiaries women and children are very happy and enjoy their right as others.They alll show their gratitude to all donors and supportersfor this appreciableimpact on their lives..
