Dear Supporter,

After 6 months of our project funding with the support of GlobalGiving, looking back on this journey, TIPA team is thrilled to share with you its achievements and challenges!

Your valuable donation contributed to reaching the following results in 2017:

248 creativity classes and 57 planning sessions with teachers were facilitated by TIPA.

432 children and 18 teachers participated in the creativity classes

81 parents were reached through parents club

We are proud of the well implemented actions. Our efforts are rewarded with the enthusiasm of children in creativity classes, and the team is boosted by the continuous improvement of our educational tools and by sharing them with the teachers.

And those who can best speak about their experience of the creativity classes and parents club are the children, teachers and parents. Here are some of theri feedback:

"The art facilitator does the register, he greets us in a motivating way to follow the class and in with a good environment. This encourages us to be good and it also values our participation." Grade 3 pupil.

"It's good to see students flourish together where there is no academic judgement. They are proud to show their work; we feel that there is an atmosphere of 'positive learning'". Teacher.

"I appreciate that my child is doing TIPA classes. I'll encourage him even more! I appreciate that he is doing so much effort." Parent

"Now I know how to explain to my child things about his education. With the help of this picture (chosen from the 52 illustrations tool), I can explain to him what I have learnt in Parents' Club." Parent

The next challenge for our team is the development of new pedagogical tools while ensuring the good evolution of the actual ones, in order to sustain the positive inpact of our action in the lives of the children.

My warmest thanks to each of you, who contributed to getting closer to of our vision of empowering vulnerable children and families! Please consider telling your friends and familes about our project.

With gratitude,

Angelique.
