Empower 1000 vulnerable women for work in Colombia

The year 2022 has been advancing rapidly, and from the ROFÉ Foundation we have continued to work nonstop on the development of the “Mujeres ROFÉ” program, which, as we have told you in previous reports, we began to devise in the first semester of the year 2021, we made it a reality with the pilot that took place between October and December of last year, and its official launch was made in February of this year. Currently we have more than 500 women who are part of the program, belonging to 15 departments of the country.

With great joy and enthusiasm, we want to tell you how we have progressed in recent months:

April 2022:

Beginning in April, we launched the “Mujeres ROFÉ” web environment, which came to complement the benefits offered to women through the program, giving them the facility to connect, either from a computer or from any mobile device, in case that they do not have the possibility of downloading the APP on their mobile phones, expanding in this way the universe of women we can reach.

During this month, the workshop on "Essential Skills for 21st Century Entrepreneurs" was held, in which practice was mixed with theory with contributions from coaching, neurolinguistic programming (NLP), creativity techniques, group dynamics, facilitation techniques of teams, andragogy (how adults learn) and gamification, in order to enhance motivation, concentration, effort, loyalty and other positive values common to the learning of women who are part of the program. May 2022:

On May the 3^rd, the event "Chat with the director" was held, where the women that participated were able to share a virtual coffee with the director of the foundation, who clarified existing doubts regarding the program and the operation of the APP and the “Mujeres ROFÉ” Web Portal. It was a space for rapprochement with the women, which made it possible to obtain feedback from them, and at the same time to measure the impact that the program is having on the lives of the participants.

During this month, the "Entrepreneurship" workshop was held, whose main objective was to transfer to the participating women tools aimed at developing their businesses, through the application of methods and techniques to develop their own business idea and build the business model, as well as define its name and brand. The women who completed this module were immediately enabled to request advice from one of our mentors, for the validation and improvement of their business ideas. June 2022:

This month we enabled the “Finances for Entrepreneurs” workshop, whose objective was to give orientation to the participating women about the correct administration of their finances, both personal and their businesses, in order to establish a plan that allows them to have peace of mind finances and avoid making mistakes that can lead to bankruptcy and the closure of their businesses.

During this workshop, topics related to income, savings, expenses, debts and cash flow were discussed, which are very necessary for the correct management of the finances of women entrepreneurs. Number of women participating in this workshop: 111

July 2022:

On Friday, July the 8^th, the first face-to-face regional meeting of "Mujeres ROFÉ" was held in Ciudad del Bicentenario in the city of Cartagena, where we had the opportunity to share with 35 women from the area who are part of the community. Together with personnel from the Department of Social Prosperity of the national government and the Santo Domingo Foundation, a unique and special day was held that allowed us to meet personally and share with these women, and at the same time strengthen the ties of our community.

Additionally, during this month the Workshop "Boost your Business on Digital Platforms" was held, which focused on giving tools to women entrepreneurs to learn how to take their business to social networks, with the aim of making it known effectively and efficiently, and in this way potentiate it, making it more visible and allowing it to increase its sales and incomes. Number of women participating in this workshop: 96

In this way, and complementing the workshops with periodic open talks on Mindfulness, finances and negotiation given by our mentors and allies to the program, we have advanced in the programmatic development of training for the women who are part of the “Mujeres ROFÉ” program.

El año 2022 ha venido avanzado rápidamente, y desde la Fundación ROFÉ hemos continuado trabajando sin parar en el desarrollo del programa “Mujeres ROFÉ”, el cual, como les hemos contando en los anteriores informes, comenzamos a idear en el primer semestre del año 2021, hicimos realidad con el piloto que se llevó a cabo entre octubre y diciembre del año pasado, y su lanzamiento oficial se hizo en febrero de este año. En la actualidad contamos con más de 500 mujeres que hacen parte del programa, pertenecientes a 15 departamentos del país.

Con mucha alegría y entusiasmo queremos contarles como hemos avanzado en los últimos meses:

Abril 2022:

Comenzando el mes de abril hicimos el lanzamiento del ambiente web de Mujeres ROFÉ, el cual llegó para complementar los beneficios ofrecidos a las mujeres a través del programa, dándoles la facilidad de conectarse, ya sea desde un computador o desde cualquier dispositivo móvil, en caso de que no tengan posibilidad de descargar la APP en sus teléfonos móviles, con lo cual se amplió el universo de mujeres al cual llegamos.

Durante este mes se desarrolló el taller de “Habilidades esenciales para emprendedoras del Siglo XXI”, en el cual se mezclaronla práctica con la teoría con aportes de coaching, programación neurolingüística (PNL), técnicas de creatividad, dinámicas de grupo, técnicas de facilitación de equipos, andragogía (cómo aprenden los adultos) y gamificación, con el fin de potenciar la motivación, la concentración, el esfuerzo, la fidelización y otros valores positivos comunes al aprendizaje de las mujeres que hacen parte del programa. Mayo 2022:

El día 3 de mayo se llevó a cabo el evento “Charla con la directora”, en donde las mujeres participantes pudieron compartir en forma virtual un café con la directora de la fundación, quien pudo aclarar dudas existentes con relación al programa y se mostró el funcionamiento de la APP y el Portal Web de Mujeres ROFÉ. Fue un espacio de acercamiento con las mujeres, el cual permitió obtener retroalimentación de su parte, y a la vez hacer una medición del impacto que está teniendo el programa en la vida de las participantes.

Durante este mes se llevó a cabo el taller de “Emprendimiento”, cuyo objetivo principal fue transferir a las mujeres participantes herramientas dirigidas al desarrollo de sus emprendimientos, mediante la aplicación de métodos y técnicas para desarrollar su propia idea de negocio y construir el modelo de negocio, así como definir el nombre y la marca del mismo. Las mujeres que culminaron este módulo quedaron inmediatamente habilitadas para solicitar asesoría con uno de nuestros mentores, para la validación y perfeccionamiento de sus ideas de negocio. Junio 2022:

En este mes habilitamos el taller “Finanzas para emprendedoras”, cuyo objetivo fue dar una orientación a las mujeres participantes acerca de la correcta administración de sus finanzas, tanto personales como de sus emprendimientos, con el fin de establecer un plan que les permita tener tranquilidad financiera y evitar cometer errores que se pueden traducir en la quiebra y cierre de sus negocios.

Durante este taller se trataron temas relacionados con ingresos, ahorros, gastos, deudas y flujo de caja, muy necesarios para el correcto manejo de las finanzas de las mujeres emprendedoras. Número de mujeres participantes en este taller: 111

Julio 2022:

El viernes 8 de julio se realizó el primer encuentro regional presencial de “Mujeres ROFÉ” en Ciudad del Bicentenario en la ciudad de Cartagena, en donde tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir con 35 mujeres de la zona que hacen parte de la comunidad. En conjunto con personal del Departamento de Prosperidad Social del gobierno nacional y de la Fundación Santo Domingo, se tuvo una jornada única y especial que permitió conocernos en forma personal y compartir con estas mujeres, y a la vez fortalecer los lazos de nuestra comunidad.

Adicionalmente, durante este mes se llevó a cabo el Taller "Impulsa tu Negocio en Plataformas Digitales", el cual se enfocó en dar herramientas a las mujeres emprendedoras para aprender a cómo llevar su negocio a las redes sociales, con el ánimo de darlo a conocer en forma efectiva y eficiente, y de esta manera potencializarlo, haciéndolo más visible y permitiendo aumentar sus ventas e incrementar los ingresos.  Número de mujeres participantes en este taller: 96

De esta manera, y complementando los talleres con charlas abiertas periódicas de Mindfulness, finanzas y de negociación dados por nuestros mentores y aliados al programa, hemos avanzado en el desarrollo programático de formación de las mujeres que hacen parte del programa “Mujeres ROFÉ”.
