Our local Palestinian team is on the ground in Gaza, and here is their most urgent request: fuel. Fuel to power hospitals, water pumps, sanitation vehicles, and sewage drains. We will provide fuel for essential services to more than 327,000 Gazans over the next three months in Nuseirat and Al Mughraqa, as well as food vouchers for 2,000 families in Middle Gaza and Rafa. Will you help?
May 14, 2018, was the bloodiest day in Palestine since 2014. At least 55 Palestinians were killed and more than 2,770 wounded by the Israeli military. Israel's deliberate and excessive use of force against peaceful protesters, including women and children, is a clear violation of human rights. This mass influx of wounded Palestinians has exacerbated Gaza's chronic energy crisis as well as its health, water, sanitation, and hygiene sectors, which are already strained by 11 years of blockade.
ActionAid's local Palestinian team is on the ground in Gaza, and here is their most urgent request: fuel. Fuel to power hospitals, water pumps, sanitation vehicles, and sewage drains. Your support will help provide fuel for essential services to more than 327,000 Gazans over the next three months in Nuseirat and Al Mughraqa, as well as food vouchers for 2,000 families who need it most in Middle Gaza and Rafa.
