The rate of COVID-19 pandemic has decreased; there are less number of cases infection reported in comparison to earlier but still the trauma, stress related to the pandemic is ongoing. KOSHISH have been continuously providing psychosocial suppprt through Tele-Counseling services. We have been providing services in all seven Provinces of Nepal.
We have been able to provide Tele-Counseling services to 42 persons during this period. As per the record, it was seen that most of the beneficiaries needed counseling services because of the uncertainty and fear of COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, though the pandemic might be decreasing in number but it can lead to post traumatic effect on the mental well-being of general people. Therefore, the ongoing tele-counseling services is must for longer period of time.
Through the support from different donors at GlobalGiving platform we have been able to provide the service. We are very thankful for the support and further support is required for working on mental and psychosocial well-being of general people.
