KOSHISH has been continuously providing counselling services to the general people all around the country through toll free and online media. The uncertainty and increasing cases of COVID-19 pandemic has increased the mental health conditions in the general people. It has increased fear, anxiety, stress, panic-attacks, and suicidal deaths in the general people. The country was in third lockdown within the given time frame so the people experiencing mental health condition increased and the service seeking tendency also increased on that time period.
So far, (April 2021- July 2021) KOSHISH has been able to provide psychological first aid and counselling services to 79 persons within the given time period. The beneficiaries were satisfied and have provided positive feedback towards the services that they received.
One of the beneficiaries shared," I felt ease and happy because I was able to share my bad experience and overcome through it."
