We bring you the touching story of 'Islam,' a precious newborn who arrived at our hospital in northern Syria battling constant drowsiness, medically termed as 'somnolence.' This condition severely hindered her ability to feed and sapped her strength. Tragically, our tests revealed a further challenge: Islam is also battling meningitis, a condition that threatens to leave permanent neurological damage with potential seizures and lifelong complications.
Our dedicated team acted swiftly, initiating a crucial regimen of antibiotics and fortified nutrition designed to combat these serious health issues. Our goal is to not only treat Islam but to ensure she thrives beyond her hospital stay.
