Since the beginning of the year, our work in the Naqab/Negev region has continued to grow from an emergency appeal to a flourishing long-term project. This year, we have ten active groups across various communities. These groups operate in Rahat, Hura, Kuseife, as well as at Sapir College, among others.
Our programming includes youth groups as well as women's groups, and our newest initiative at Sapir College recently opened with four student groups. Recently, we were delighted to host a group for a tour in Jaffa, while another groupspent a day at our Open House in Ramle, exploring both our office and the city’s history through a political tour.
These groups form the foundation of our expanding work in the Naqab/Negev region, with participants exploring shared society values while addressing local community needs and building leadership skills. The recent tour to Jaffa provided these participants with valuable opportunities to connect with our broader network and explore historical narratives and identities beyond their communities.
As we look ahead to the coming months, we're excited about the potential for further growth and deeper impact. Thank you for standing with us and for believing in the possibility of change through justice and shared action.
In solidarity,
The Sadaka-Reut Team
