Elderly Women Support Project

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative supporting elderly women with food, livelihood and essential goods. Over the years one of our projects is providing women with seedlings so that they are able to grow high-valued fruit trees around vacant areas in their farms. We do this so that eventually when the planted seedlings mature, elderly women will be able to harvest and enjoy the benefits of their labor. We are happy to report that by this time few of our beneficiaries are able to start harvesting fruits from the trees they planted. It takes about 4 years for newly planted trees to bear fruit and fruiting will take so many years. We will continue this effort and your support is important.

Dear Friend,

Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your support to our initiative helping elderly women. We are very happy to inform you that despite low in resources, we are still able to implement our projects in a top-quality manner and we are reaching more beneficiaries everyday. This is because we utilize a lot of volunteers and we are embedded in the area so our operational cost is low. This project period we were able to assist a total of 75 elderly and their families with local livelihood inputs so that they become self-sustaining. Our local livelihoods are farm-based in nature and some examples are vegetable gardening, animal raising and food vending. Hoping for your continuing support to us as we aim to integrate tree growing and carbon offset in our work.
