In these blessed days, thanks to your giving through GlobalGiving, we were able to begin providing Eid clothes for orphaned children in northern Syria.
Khaled, an orphan child under eight years old, says this is the first time he has bought Eid clothes. It is a wonderful and beautiful feeling. This Eid, I will not be sad because my mother is unable to provide me with new clothes. He continues, saying, during Eid, I will be able to go out and play with my friends without feeling sad while wearing old clothes.
As Sarah, a little girl, says, “How beautiful these clothes are, because for the first time I will wear clothes that no one else had.”
