Amid the difficult conditions children in Gaza and Syria face, the "Eid Clothing" project aims to bring joy to 400 children by providing them with new clothes, restoring the happiness of this blessed occasion. The project seeks to offer Eid clothes to orphaned and needy children, ensuring they experience a joyful and hopeful Eid.
Thousands of children in Gaza and Syria suffer from extreme poverty due to ongoing wars, blockades, and displacement, depriving them of their basic rights, including having new clothes for Eid. Many families live in dire conditions, struggling to afford basic necessities, let alone buy Eid clothes for their children. This deprivation increases children's feelings of exclusion and loss, making them feel different from their peers during such joyful occasions.
The project will provide new clothes tailored to different age groups of children in Gaza and Syria, ensuring they are distributed just before Eid to allow them to celebrate with happiness. The clothes will be carefully selected for quality and appropriate sizing and will be distributed through field teams affiliated with our local partners to ensure fair and organized delivery to those in need.
Beyond offering children immediate Eid joy, the project will improve their psychological well-being and reinforce their sense of belonging and care. When a child wears new clothes on Eid, they feel remembered and supported. Additionally, this initiative strengthens social solidarity and encourages more donations and humanitarian efforts to improve the lives of needy children in the long run.
