On behalf of the students, teachers, board, and staff at EduNations, I'd like to thank you for your support of education in Sierra Leone. All of our students completed their exams, ending another successful school year at EduNations. They will not receive their test results until September or October, but said they felt fully prepared and confident in taking these exams. We are so proud of them!
The students are now taking a well-deserved summer break and will be back to start another school year on September 17th. Before the year begins, all of our principals and teachers will be attending mandatory training retreats, where they will connect, collaborate, and continue to build their teaching techniques together. We are grateful for all of our teachers who so willingly invest in the children of their communities.
At the start of the 2018-2019 school year, 2,500 EduNations students will be attending school for free! This year, we have 14 schools throughout 6 villages. Many of our students do not have the resources to purchase school supplies for the upcoming school year so we have started a project, Provide School Supplies for 2,500 African Students, to help cover these costs. Please consider donating and making a difference in a child's life today. It only costs $6.00 to provide one student with enough school supplies for the entire year!
We are so thankful for each and every one of you, who make free education in Sierra Leone possible. You are making a difference!
