EduNations would like to again thank you for your support of our work in Sierra Leone. This year has been full of developments and the 2,000 students in our schools have been working very hard in their studies. The school supplies that you provided these students have been key to their success in the classroom.
As the school year winds down, our students are preparing for their national exams. Our students in grade 6 have already taken these exams and have done well. Students in grade 9 will be taking them in July. These exams are mandatory and very important, as they determine whether or not a student can move onto the next grade level. These exams also show the quality of the schooling that they are receiving. In the past, our students have tested extremely well in comparison to the national average, and we have no doubts that they will do the same this year. Please keep our students in your thoughts as they take these rigorous exams.
Students are also looking forward to beginning their summer break which will last until the new school year starts in August. We are anticipating an increasing number of students next school year and look forward to all that it will bring. In the village of Rokassa we are adding on yet another grade level, JSS II, to continue equipping our older students with the education that they need. We are so excited! We hope to build another school for the exclusive use of our JSS students in the near future. Thank you again for choosing to support our EduNations Hope Academies.
