Soft skills trainings for doctors and nurses:
Training “Emotional burnout”, January 2020
Topics we choose are based on our doctor’s and nurse’s requests and needs. This time it was “Emotional burnout” which is crucial for those who work with child oncology. We gathered mixed group of 18 people (doctors, nurses, patient’s parents) from Kyiv state clinics. This 1 day spent together sharing thoughts, experience and learning how to protect yourself from burnout were extremely important to all participants.
Training for doctors “Patient management”, February 2020
In February we have launched training session for doctors from “Academy of medical marketing” training agency. All content is mainly dedicated to soft skills for doctors- leaders who deal with patient and team management.
Nursing school, February 2020
Second event for nurses took place in February in Kyiv and consisted of 2 parts: medical topic - Chemotherapy in child oncology and soft skills topic - Communication skills basic level. This time we managed to bring together 45 nurses from different cities presenting all regions in Ukraine. Knowing that our Nurse school is unique education event for pediatric oncology nurses from state clinics we are inspired to continue this project on the regular basis in 2020.
We continue to support expertise development and education of Kyiv National children specialized hospital laboratory department.
In first quarter in 2020 we provided 3 education projects in Belarus, Minks dedicated to modern methods of cytology diagnostic methods of pediatric oncology diseases.
It is great to work with such motived team who is constantly developing their professional knowledge and skills in order to help kids from all Ukraine.
